Lyndsi Schuesler is an artist living and working in Pontiac, Michigan. Her creative work focuses on using wool felt to investigate normative forms of interaction and interdependent relationships. Her research interests include the complex material histories of textile objects and their cultural implications.
Her work has shown nationally, including at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, MI. In 2018, she participated in a Fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center and a residency at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. She earned her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and currently teaches in Crafts at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
Lyndsi Schuesler’s work was on display at SHAG in February 2021 in her solo exhibition, Bodily Autonomy.
